About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at Grifols, a global healthcare company dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people around the world.
As a Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will also build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction and ensure donor and staff confidentiality.
Additionally, you will be responsible for providing donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results. You will also evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events, and assist in employee training.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician. Current CPR certification is also required.
