About the Position
The University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) is seeking a talented and accomplished Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Epidemiology. This state-funded tenure-track position comes with a 9-month appointment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in innovative and productive research, teaching, and training the next generation of epidemiologists.

Responsibilities
As a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in epidemiology methodology, specifically risk modeling & prediction, causal inference, and big data analyses. You will also teach undergraduate and graduate students, develop a successful external-funded research program, and contribute to the advancement of public health through your work. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines to foster an interdisciplinary research environment. Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Population Health Sciences, or a related field. Your strong track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications, experience teaching and training undergraduate and graduate students, and demonstrated commitment to epidemiology and public health are essential qualifications. Moreover, you should be able to bring or develop a successful external-funded research program in your specialty area.
