Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a key role in the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process and clinical skills to provide high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include analyzing patient health problems, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Additional responsibilities include interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
Required qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
Preferred qualifications include experience in a similar role and additional certifications in specialty areas.
Exposure to blood-borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, and other infectious diseases is possible, requiring the use of protective equipment.
Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting patients, as well as using appropriate Safe-Patient Handling equipment.
