Position Overview

Grider Support Services, LLC is in search of a dedicated and experienced Lead Registered Nurse to enhance our healthcare team. This pivotal role involves delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.

Compensation: $45.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and deliver direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and follow-up procedures.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and monitor individualized patient care plans.
  3. Lead the clinical team, offering guidance and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Effectively delegate tasks and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  5. Train and mentor new staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  6. Prepare and organize patient charts to guarantee accurate and complete documentation prior to visits.
  7. Work alongside management to implement necessary policy and procedural changes.
  8. Collaborate with administrative staff to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care quality.
  9. Maintain professional relationships with external healthcare facilities.
  10. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  11. Ensure precise documentation of patient care within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  12. Deliver outstanding customer service to create a positive experience for all patients.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Education: Must possess a valid license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient care environment, with 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role strongly preferred.

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical expertise with a solid understanding of outpatient and ambulatory care practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments, formulate care plans, and manage follow-up care effectively.
  • Critical thinking, time management, and strong communication skills are essential.
