Pediatric Specialty Care Job Description

At Pediatric Specialty Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional long-term, short-term, and transitional care for technology-dependent and medically fragile infants, children, and young adults. Our goal is to enable children with special needs to reach their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in the planning and delivery of care to all assigned individuals.
• Assist in performing accurate, thorough, and timely completion of nursing admission evaluations and re-evaluations of individual care needs in accordance with Nursing Department standards of practice.
• Document as required in care plans, nursing notes, medical administration records, treatment records, and other necessary records.
• Provide evaluation of needs of individual care planning information as necessary and as requested by nurses and other healthcare disciplines.
• Participate in Change-of-Shift Report and be responsible for bringing nursing personnel of the next shift up to date regarding the care and needs of individuals.

Requirements:
• Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification.
• Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
