**Job Responsibilities**

As an Automotive Service Director, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, overseeing technician teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assigning and scheduling work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level
  • Serving all automotive service needs of customers
  • Overseeing the hiring and training of effective auto service teams
  • Maintaining compliance with quality standards
  • Developing customer satisfaction and retention strategies

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of auto service technical experience
  • 1 year of service manager or service writer experience
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage customer complaints
  • Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance, etc.
  • Capacity to lead and coach others
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
