We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatrist to join our team as an Independent Medical Assessor, conducting medical examinations for United States Veterans. Located in Cedarville, AR, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working independently.

About the Role

As a Physiatrist Medical Examiner, you will be responsible for reviewing medical health records and performing comprehensive assessments on veterans. You will complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure web portal, documenting exam findings needed by the VA. This is not a treating role, and your focus will be on providing accurate and unbiased medical opinions.

This position requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to review large electronic medical records and extract key data points. You must be proficient in typing and able to submit completed DBQs within 24 hours of each exam. A high level of time management and organizational skills is essential to meet the demands of this role.

Requirements
  • A current license as a Physiatrist
  • Board Certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
