Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team as Program Director. The successful candidate will lead our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department, overseeing the supervision of OMFS resident staff and participating in daily rounds of in-patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced surgeon to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth of our department.

Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of OMFS resident team as Program Director
  • Participation in daily rounds of in-patients
  • Scholarly activity with resident education program and mentorship of research initiatives
  • Educational conferences and presentations to faculty and residents across all disciplines
  • Growth of Craniofacial Division to include treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Cleft Palate Repair
Qualifications
  • Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD). MD degree Preferred
  • Board Eligible by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. (Board Certification Preferred)
  • Appropriate New York state licensure
  • Fellowship Certificate of training preferred however not required
