**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team at South Puget Sound Community College. This role will provide administrative support to the Humanities, Communication, and Arts Division Dean, as well as office support to faculty and staff.

**Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral skills, working knowledge of computers and software applications, specifically Microsoft Office, and online applications. Strong commitment to customer service, aptitude for attention to detail, and ability to work independently are essential.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide administrative support to the Humanities, Communication, and Arts Division Dean, including interpreting and applying administrative policies, coordinating with other staff members, and creating contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, serve as liaison to division faculty and staff, coordinate office operations, and organize workflow to enhance efficiencies.
  • Coordinate travel for the dean, including making travel arrangements, submitting documentation to the business office, and tracking expenditures.
  • Manage the dean's calendar, schedule appointments and meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and attend meetings.

**Requirements:**

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Excellent written and oral skills and working knowledge of computers and software applications, specifically Microsoft Office, and online applications.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and ability to work independently.
