CoreMed Plus Medical Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at CoreMed Plus in Waterford, Michigan.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $18-$22 per hour. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also receive accrued PTO, 6 paid holidays, and an evaluation after a probation period.

As a Medical Assistant with CoreMed Plus, you will work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Your schedule will typically be from 8 am or 8:30 am until close, around 5 pm, but may extend beyond that depending on patient needs.

Responsibilities
  • Greet each patient with a warm smile, taking them back while ensuring their comfort.
  • Prepare charts for doctors, check for care gaps, and follow up with insurance companies.
  • Administer injections, EKGs, spirometry tests, diabetic eye exams, and urine tests with good bedside manner.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience.
  • A caring, clean, organized, and proactive team member.
  • Willingness and motivation to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several providers.
  • Long-term commitment to a career as a medical assistant.
