Catering Sales Professional with Excellent Event Planning Skills

We are seeking a dynamic Catering Event Sales Manager to join our team at Flik Hospitality Group. This role is responsible for guiding customers through event experiences, identifying solutions that meet their goals and objectives, resulting in a compelling event experience.
About the JobThis is an on-site position that requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, make proactive decisions, and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to understand event cost structures and incorporate them into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines.
- Lead sales marketing and lead generation activities to support revenue goals, develop campaigns to qualify leads, and create and enhance lead generation emails and templates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing collateral and materials that align with key messaging and branding.
- Create and propose menus, schedule tastings, and coordinate with the culinary department to ensure proper menu selection.
- Conduct vendor production walk-throughs, conference calls, and meetings related to event planning.
- Produce clear Banquet Event Orders, design floor plans, and manage equipment inventory for events.
- Communicate all pertinent event information to each department to ensure a seamless planning process.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Event Sales and/or Conference Catering Sales.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Hospitality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of current food industry trends and fine dining points of service.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and holiday time off.
