Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support to our dynamic healthcare team at Holistic Integration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing administrative and clinical tasks to ensure our medical facility operates efficiently and provides top-notch care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient records, scheduling appointments, and answering phones in a timely and organized manner.
  • Assist medical staff with routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting during procedures.
  • Collect patient records from past providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Gather and document patient symptoms through review forms and discussions.
  • Send orders to appropriate medical facilities for patient care coordination.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures, including drawing blood, labeling samples, and ensuring proper handling for laboratory testing.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or related fields is preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant and completion of phlebotomy training is required.
  • Familiarity with medical billing and coding procedures is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
