Senior Product Development Manager

As a Senior Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of one of our products within Home Hardware Engineering. This role requires driving day-to-day activities to meet overall program objectives, focusing on engineering, development planning, and validation cycles.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced product development manager to join our team at Apple Inc. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional teams to execute successful completion of product development tasks.
  • Create and maintain project schedules to meet market delivery dates.
  • Identify and direct all resources required to execute successful completion of product development tasks.
  • Lead day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives.
  • Collaborate and facilitate communication across engineering, operations, and marketing managers and OEM partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management in product development or an engineering background.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Understanding of product development processes and manufacturing processes.
