About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed. As a CVOR RN, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries.

Job Overview

This is a 92-day contract opportunity with a competitive salary of $115,101 per year, based on a 4-day workweek and an 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM schedule.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a CVOR environment, with strong communication and adaptability skills. You will be responsible for assisting surgeons during procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and providing instruments and supplies
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assess their responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective delivery of patient care
Required Qualifications
  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
