Job Responsibilities
  • Leading project teams to ensure quality work and successful project delivery
  • Developing, monitoring, and managing project budgets to optimize resources and achieve goals
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and staffing to meet client expectations and deadlines
  • Effectively communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships
  • Ensuring project-specific delivery requirements are met and exceeding client expectations
  • Leading project pursuits, securing contract work, negotiating contracts, and providing updates as requested
  • Providing mentorship, guidance, and development to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships to foster long-term partnerships
  • Collaborating with colleagues and utilizing internal resources to continuously enhance your professional skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Administering JT's Quality Assurance process for all projects to ensure high-quality deliverables
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects and demonstrating leadership skills
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets to optimize resources and achieve goals
  • Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes to ensure compliance and excellence
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
  • To be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States
  • To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
