Job Responsibilities

As an Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Geisinger Health System, you will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will promote adaptive responses of patient/family to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction. You will also coordinate patient care and interaction of staff, meet the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned unit, and provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.

Requirements

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification, Licensed Practical Nurse
