Addiction and Recovery Healthcare Specialist

This role is an open and continuous posting for full-time positions on various shifts. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN II) to provide direct care to individuals with substance use issues, including assessing patients' conditions, administering medication, monitoring detoxification, and providing health education.
About the RoleAs a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to motivate and encourage individuals in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment by coordinating staff assignments.
- Demonstrate nursing tasks, including admissions, discharges, safety checks, fire drills, milieu nursing, and client escorts.
- Ensure timely medication administration, transcribing orders, ordering medications, stocking medication rooms, and recording vital sign data.
- Participate in therapeutic interactions with clients to aid in assessments and ensure patient safety.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of one year's experience working with clients who have primary substance use disorders.
- Knowledge of detoxification protocols, including CIWA and COWS, and experience with medications required for acute detox and maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices and procedures relative to geriatrics and substance use addiction services.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a salary range of $64,100 - $89,850 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
