Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Portable Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth. In this role, you will perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, providing excellent patient care while adhering to safety standards.

About the Role

As a Portable Medical Imaging Specialist, you will travel to patients' homes or facilities to perform x-rays and EKGs. You will be responsible for preparing patients, operating portable equipment, maintaining records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patients' homes or facilities to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and exposure
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and quality outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • The ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • The ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • State-specific licensure and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Limited Scope X-ray Operator
