We are seeking an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in Oakdale, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to specifications.

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will utilize your skills in soldering and assembly to contribute to the production of reliable electronic products. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in meeting our quality standards.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Component Assembly: Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
  • Soldering: Perform soldering tasks, including through-hole and surface mount soldering, to connect electronic components securely. Ensure quality and reliability of solder joints.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of assembled products to identify defects or discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate assembly tools and equipment, such as soldering irons, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including component usage and inspection results, as part of quality assurance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members and engineers to improve assembly processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Required qualifications for this role include:

  • 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related field.
  • Experience with soldering and assembly techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $40,000 and $65,000 per year, based on factors such as education, work experience, and work location.
