Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of medication administration, including dosages, times, and any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents to identify their medication needs and make recommendations for changes to their care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for medication administration, including restocking medication carts and disposing of expired medications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in medication administration and CPR/First Aid preferred.
  • Previous experience working with seniors and administering medications preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care to residents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
