Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Friendship Community Care. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living skills, including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation.
- Provide transportation to and from appointments and activities, ensuring a safe and reliable service.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and care, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two+ years of experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with state minimum liability insurance required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
