We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Caregiver to join our team at Tennova Hospice. As a Spiritual Caregiver, you will provide spiritual care to patients and their families, promoting a sense of comfort, peace, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide spiritual care to patients and families, demonstrating cultural and spiritual humility.
- Champion cultural and spiritual diversity, ensuring that each patient's beliefs and values are respected and honored.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a sense of trust and collaboration.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Master's degree in theology, divinity, pastoral care, or a related field.
- Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on spiritual care.
- Current endorsement or acceptable language in accordance with the applicant's spiritual/faith tradition.
