Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Caregiver to join our team at Tennova Hospice. As a Spiritual Caregiver, you will provide spiritual care to patients and their families, promoting a sense of comfort, peace, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual care to patients and families, demonstrating cultural and spiritual humility.
  • Champion cultural and spiritual diversity, ensuring that each patient's beliefs and values are respected and honored.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a sense of trust and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in theology, divinity, pastoral care, or a related field.
  • Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on spiritual care.
  • Current endorsement or acceptable language in accordance with the applicant's spiritual/faith tradition.
