About This Opportunity
This exciting role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified Physical Therapist to join our team in Chestnut Hill, MA. As a member of our dynamic orthopedic practice, you will work with a variety of patients with complex conditions, including non-operative and post-operative management of the spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and evaluate patient's physical therapy needs, formulating a diagnosis and developing a treatment plan to maximize function.
- Demonstrate competency in all clinical knowledge and skills specific to assigned areas of care, working closely with other healthcare team members to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
- Participate in activities directed towards increasing knowledge and skill, professional development, and departmental meetings to formulate policies, procedures, and program development.
- Supervise aides and other support personnel, students, and individuals seeking educational experiences related to physical therapy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred. Licensure: Must possess an unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Experience: Minimum two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, preferably in an academic setting. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
