Job Overview

">

We are seeking an experienced Freight Cost Analyst to join our Integrated Logistics Accounting team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely freight invoice processing and accounting of freight costs.

Responsibilities

">
  • Match invoices and work with cross-functional teams to make system/process improvements.
  • Support monthly accounting close and audit.
  • Provide expertise in integrated logistics subledger systems.
  • Identify key risks and opportunities and work cross-functionally to provide solutions that drive process improvements.
  • Map transaction flows and collaborate with accountants to identify posting errors or potential system mapping issues.
  • Assist with month-end close tasks by preparing journals and reconciliations.

Requirements

">
  • 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting a subledger accounting team, maintaining high standards for close accuracy and timing.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan) and business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Incorta, SQL queries).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to assess business processes and implement improvements.

This role is based in Seattle, Washington, with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
