Part-Time Swim Instructor

We are seeking a part-time swim instructor to join our team at Little Flippers, a learn-to-swim school that aims to teach water safety throughout our lessons. Our instructors play a vital role in helping children develop essential swimming skills and build confidence in the water.

About Us:

Little Flippers is an independently owned and operated school that provides a supportive and fun environment for kids to learn how to swim. As a part of the US Swim School Association, we share a common goal of teaching water safety and promoting healthy habits in young people.

Responsibilities:

• Teach swim lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Implement the Little Flippers curriculum, ensuring a safe and engaging learning experience for all students
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement
• Help with pool set-up and clean-up before and after lessons
• Possibility of working full-time hours or office work as needed

Requirements:

• No prior experience in aquatics required; we provide paid on-site training for all new instructors
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to providing a positive and engaging experience for students
