As a Clinical Care Specialist on our Cardiac Unit, you will be responsible for providing safe and competent nursing care to patients, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and upholding high standards of service excellence. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.


Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • At least one year of full-time experience in an acute care setting, preferably in cardiology.
  • Current South Carolina nursing license.
  • BLS certification (or obtained during orientation).
  • ACLS certification (or obtained within six months of employment), required for cardiac specialties.
  • PALS certification (or obtained within six months of employment), required for pediatric specialties.
  • Successful completion of Handle With Care training during orientation.
