Freelance Midwife Opportunity

We are an esteemed women-led organization, Woman's Way Midwifery PC, seeking a seasoned midwife to join our team on a per-diem basis.

This role offers the flexibility to work independently, providing exceptional care to our patients at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. With a high volume of deliveries ranging from 8 to 12 per month, we require an experienced professional who can manage their time effectively and communicate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team.

• Provide on-call services from home, triaging calls and determining the best course of action for patient care.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and hospitalists as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.

• Minimum 3 years of midwifery experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
• Current licensure and registration as a Registered Professional Nurse (if CNM) and a Licensed Midwife (CNM/CM) in New York State.
• National certification with the American Midwifery Board Certification (AMCB) is required.
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and basic life support certification is preferred.
