Position Overview
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the comfort and health of our patients.

Department: Internal Medicine
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Facility: Ascension Health
Compensation: $35.76 per hour. Actual salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with the directives of registered nurses or physicians, adhering to your licensed scope of practice.
- Participate in patient assessments and ensure their overall well-being.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Conduct laboratory tests and provide therapeutic services.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.

Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse certification.

Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent, or one year of relevant job-specific experience.
- Note: Professional licensure/certification may substitute for education or experience if applicable.
