Job Title: Retail Sales Associate, Optical

At Nationwide Vision, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Sun City West, AZ.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist patients in selecting the perfect eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens coatings to fit their needs. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work closely with patients to understand their preferences and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and lens coatings, taking into account their facial features, occupation, and habits.
  • Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Educate patients on specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit their needs.
  • Continuously update knowledge on current brand offerings.
  • Accurately collect measurements, including bridge, eye size, temple length, and seg heights.
  • Check in incoming orders to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Dispense patient orders and repair and adjust patient frames.
  • Identify and resolve patient complaints through troubleshooting.
  • Assist other areas as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
  • Reliable transportation to multiple work locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
