We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and cooler facilities, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in supervising teams and coordinating activities to maximize productivity. You will be responsible for scheduling, assigning, and monitoring work, as well as providing clear direction to warehouse/cooler employees to meet the needs of the business.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring that outgoing semi-trailers or trucks are loaded accurately and on time to meet customer order requirements. You will also determine needed quantities of finished product and communicate those needs to the production area, anticipating current and future production needs through close communication with sales and production.

Additionally, you will monitor incoming loads and invoices to identify damaged or erroneously delivered orders, working with vendors, suppliers, and other employees to resolve discrepancies and solve problems. Ensuring that procedures are followed so that finished products are loaded accurately is another critical responsibility of this role.

You will notify appropriate department and/or personnel regarding shortages and late deliveries, providing internal/external customer service, and work effectively with union and/or non-union employees to promote positive and productive working relationships.

Key qualifications for this position include an undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain and logistics, or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education), 2 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse, cooler, distribution, production, logistics, or related environment coupled with demonstrated leadership attributes or team lead experience, and certification and/or license may be required during the course of employment.

In terms of skills and abilities, you should possess knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems, knowledge of principles and practices of supervision, training, and personnel management, ability to promote a team environment, ability to interact positively and work effectively with others, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Salary: $70,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
