Server Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute service standards as outlined in the Company and Property's Service, Food, and Beverage manuals.
  • Maintain daily stock and availability of all restaurant service items.
  • Contribute to exceptional guest experiences, operational effectiveness, and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, guests, vendors, and leadership team members.
  • Achieve sales, service, and facility maintenance objectives.
  • Promote a positive and productive working environment.
  • Maintain equipment, bar equipment, and storage facilities cleanliness.
  • Prepare required paperwork, reports, and inventory in an organized manner.
  • Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.
  • Ensure honesty and integrity in financial matters.
  • Perform other duties assigned by chefs, captains, lead bartenders, and managers.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Take 100% responsibility for the quality and integrity of the restaurant service program.
  • E nsure correct food and beverage presentation, temperature, and allergy/special preference recording and communication to the kitchen team.
  • Complete timely service set-up and side-work according to restaurant standards.
  • Welcome guests, present menus, explain specials, assist with order placement, and address menu inquiries.
  • Take accurate orders, punch in orders on POS, verify modifications or special accommodations, and confirm changes with the Chef.
  • Organize products, maintain order, rotation, and cleanliness of all restaurant storage areas.
  • Support FOH staff and bartenders during setup and breakdown.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure success in all stations and areas.
  • Establish a hygienic and safe working environment.
  • Report to work punctually and respond to emergencies.
  • Attend scheduled meetings, participate, and share opinions relevant to the agenda.
  • Regularly inspect and clean equipment.
  • Work dinner service while fulfilling daily responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per day.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly, and transport it to various areas of the restaurant.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • No prior experience necessary; prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language used in the restaurant.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 40-hour minimum weekly schedule, flexibility to work holidays and weekends required.
