Production Painter

Central Plains Industries is seeking a skilled Production Painter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying industrial paint finishes to metals and other surfaces.

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding, rust removal, and pressure washing.
• Apply paint and powder coatings to completed production jobs and sub-assemblies.
• Operate paint equipment and perform daily maintenance tasks.
• Utilize proper paint application techniques and inspect paint jobs for quality issues.
• Assist in loading and unloading the auto-line with parts and rotate tasks with other coworkers.
• Read and understand customer blueprints and identify areas not to be painted.

• Minimum one year of prior production painting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to portray a cordial and welcoming demeanor toward coworkers and customers.
