Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electromagnetic Phenomenology Engineer to join our team at Leidos. In this role, you will apply your expertise in electromagnetic modeling and experimentation to support various signature modeling programs.

About the Role

As an Electromagnetic Phenomenology Engineer, you will be responsible for running state-of-the-art signature prediction codes, creating custom signature prediction tools, and performing special analyses in support of critical customer mission areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in small teams to achieve program goals
  • Model and characterize electromagnetic phenomenology primarily in radio frequency bands
  • Characterize and evaluate radar cross sections
  • Verify and validate measured data and computational electromagnetic predictions
  • Create signature predictions using CEM prediction software
  • Write and present technical information related to development activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience or a Master's degree or higher with 2+ years' experience in Electrical Engineering or a closely related scientific field.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $81,250.00 - $146,875.00 and flexible in-office hours. This position requires most job duties to be performed onsite due to the sensitive nature of this work.
