Job Summary

We are seeking a Janitorial Lead to join our team in Peoria, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the work of assigned staff, mentoring employees, and ensuring that work is completed in accordance with department and facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the work of assigned staff to ensure that daily workload is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Mentor and train employees to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Monitor and ensure that work is completed in accordance with department and facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
• Positively interact with employees on a regular basis to encourage and redirect as needed.
• Aid co-workers as necessary to meet customer demands and timelines.
• Train employees into specialized areas and document training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some experience with performing administrative tasks is required.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable working in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
