We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at the US Oncology Network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
  • Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
  • Cut blocks and make custom molds as needed.
  • Interpret computerized treatment plans and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification and valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • 0-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT, depending on the level of the position.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include sitting, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and occasionally standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and have vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges.

Work Environment:

This role is performed in an office environment and requires significant interaction with management, staff, and external auditors and clients.
