Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Wrestling Coach to join our team at Stratford High School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wrestling and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Select the squad for the team
  • Plan and schedule a regular program of practice
  • Attend league, district, and school staff meetings, sports awards programs, and banquets
  • Oversee the safety conditions of practice, game, and locker room areas
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Explain and enforce eligibility rules, training rules, and regulations
  • Assume responsibility for uniforms and equipment

Requirements:

  • Valid CT Coaching permit
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Concussion Mod 15
