MRI Assistant

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled MRI Assistant to join our team in the Imaging Department. As an MRI Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist technologists, nurses, and physicians with diagnostic imaging and/or other exams
Escort patients to and from the imaging department
Prepare imaging equipment and the associated room for exams
Prepare patients for the appropriate imaging exam
Notify the technologist, radiologist, and/or clinical team when the patient is ready for their exam
Place reminder calls to patients and assist with scheduling, as needed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic Life Support from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment preferred
