The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banking center operations, including sales, customer service, profitability, and colleague development. They will work closely with segment and line of business partners to drive growth, optimize client relationships, and implement sales strategies that align with district objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, retention targets, and Superior Service Quality (SSQ) standards.
  2. Business Planning: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive business plan, and contribute to establishing team sales and service goals.
  3. Client Relationships: Expand and retain existing client relationships through cross-selling, issue resolution, and proactive engagement.
  4. Segment Strategy: Identify, cultivate, and support key customer segments through focused sales and referral activity.
  5. Product Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of Webster's asset, liability, and partner products and services, as well as alternative delivery channels.
  6. Colleague Development: Coach, develop, and hold colleagues accountable by demonstrating leadership skills and modeling best practices.
  7. Audit and Compliance: Ensure timely completion of audits, meeting or exceeding branch operations review requirements, and maintaining compliance with federal and state laws, as well as bank policies and procedures.
  8. Scheduling and Coverage: Schedule branch employee shifts to meet customer service needs, providing flexibility and coverage for the banking center.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
  • 5-7 years of banking experience, with a proven track record in leadership, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
  • Strong customer service skills, relationship building, organizational, computer skills, comfortable with current technology, and effective communication skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $115,000.00 USD annually. Actual salary may vary based on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
