About the Role

The Health & Human Services Commission is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant III to join our team in the Child Care Regulation program. This position provides critical support to our inspectors and unit supervisors, requiring a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

Job Description
  • Provide administrative support to Child Care Regulation inspectors and unit supervisors, handling sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Process mail, maintain a record management system, and enter data into electronic systems.
  • Routine communication via telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions with staff and the public.
  • Coordinate the purchase, receipt, maintenance, and distribution of office equipment, furniture, and supplies.
  • Manage data entry of applications for childcare licenses, review and process registered childcare home applications, and provide case management of listed family homes under Child Care Regulation jurisdiction.
