About the Role

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski Guide Lead to join our team at Yosemite's Badger Pass location for the Winter season.

This is a unique opportunity to lead guests on an organized and educational excursion, providing a safe and enjoyable experience in the beautiful winter landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead guests on ski excursions, providing expert knowledge and guidance on winter sports and safety procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior guides to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure all guests are properly equipped and briefed on safety procedures, area regulations, and resource protection.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Provide interpretation and education on local ecology, geology, history, and culture to guests.
  • Choreograph tours to engage visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ensure security of company assets and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Work in conditions that involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience guiding in the same or related environment.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Available to work flexible hours.
  • Multi-lingual skills a plus.
  • Training in First Aid protocols such as Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness Advanced First Aid, Wilderness EMT, or EMT/Paramedic preferred.
