Job Summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist Lvl III to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of radiological services, recommending changes and improvements, and participating in the development of training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the delivery of radiological services, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Recommend changes and improvements to enhance the delivery of radiological services.
  • Participate in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel, ancillary personnel, and allied health care professionals.
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including diagnostic and interventional radiography.
  • Recommends area assignment of personnel to coordinate activities within the department.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control, and maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Perform research and participate in special projects involving evaluation of equipment and delivery of service.
Requirements
  • Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
