We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Registered Nurse in our Adult Medicine unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary

  • This role is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills as a nurse.
  • You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to achieve desired health outcomes.
  • In addition to providing direct patient care, you will also participate in education and training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  2. Care Delivery: Implement evidence-based care plans to address identified patient needs and promote optimal health outcomes.
  3. Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current on best practices and advances in nursing care.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut
  • BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
  • 1+ years of experience in adult medicine

Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000 per year
