Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Systems Engineer to support the research and development of robotic and unmanned systems across multiple operational domains and mission areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and demonstrate new robotic capabilities that address complex client problems in sensing, autonomy, and human interaction.
  • Apply advanced consulting and technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and mentor and supervise team members.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in robotics engineering, including software and control schemes, hardware integration, and testing.
  • 1+ years of experience in design, development, implementation, evaluation, and support of uncrewed and autonomous vehicles.
  • Ability to build, troubleshoot, and repair robotic mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with conducting detailed design of production of uncrewed underwater vehicles based on performance requirements.
  • Experience with using design, modeling, and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, SolidWorks, or MagicDraw.
  • Ability to derive and populate a state space model of vehicle dynamics, pose, and forces.
  • Ability to manage coordinate reference frame transformations and translations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD.
