Radiology Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Schiller Park, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as specified by a physician.
- Determine optimal exposure factors and position patients using immobilization devices to ensure excellent film quality.
- Adhere to department standards of radiographic quality, reviewing radiographs to ensure they meet expectations.
- Consistently maintain a professional attitude, cooperating with colleagues, physicians, patients, and families.
- Maintain a safe environment, adhering to age and developmental status considerations.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- Certificate or Associate Degree in Radiology Technology.
- Previous experience is desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of R.I.S. and basic computer knowledge.
- ARRT Registered or registry eligible.
- IDNS Licensed.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and emergency call-backs.
- May be exposed to radiation during procedures.
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods or lift and move patients.
- May be exposed to hazardous materials, infectious disease, and required to participate in annual emergency drills.
