PharmScript, a leading pharmacy partner for long-term and post-acute care facilities, supplies medications to thousands of residents and patients. As a Revenue Cycle Workflow Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team that ensures timely and accurate medication delivery.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Workflow Specialist to join our PharmScript team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all outstanding bills are tracked for daily census, utilizing excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer accounts, convey relevant information, research customer issues, and establish financial arrangements with customers.
  • Review and resolve AR delinquencies within assigned accounts, escalating to management as necessary.
  • Execute follow-up inquiries on broken payment arrangements and secure future promises to pay.
  • Prioritize work activities daily.
  • Respond timely to all customer inquiries, both inbound and outbound.
  • Enter detailed conversation notes, including payment arrangements.
  • Meet performance standards set by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree.
  • Experience in long-term care or retail pharmacy environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a diverse team environment.
  • Reliable, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
  • Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • 1 year of billing, long-term care, or retail pharmacy experience desired.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • May sit or stand for 7-10 hours per day.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, or crawl intermittently.
  • May work extended hours as needed.
  • May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a diverse team environment.
