Kaleida Health is seeking a skilled Obstetrics Nurse to join our team at Millard Fillmore Suburban. As a key member of our Labor and Delivery team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

• Assess and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive or restorative of life and well-being.
• Execute medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician, dentist, or other licensed healthcare provider, in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations.
• Adhere to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.
• Provide patient education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

• Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse (RPN).
• American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• RN Obstetrics L&D American Heart Association ACLS, American Academy of Pediatrics NRP, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification within one year of hire.
• Minimum of nine (9) continuous months of comparable work experience within two (2) years of the time the per diem job is posted.
