Job Summary

This role requires an experienced Registered Nurse to lead patient care teams and ensure exceptional outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for using the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, delegating tasks effectively, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead patient care teams to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective care plans based on individual patient needs
  • Delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for quality patient care
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
  • 1 year of experience as a registered nurse
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement and strong interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The incumbent may be exposed to blood, body fluid, and tissue during the course of their duties.

What We Offer

Ochsner Health provides a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
