Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and hook up electrical equipment on marine vessels
  • Lay out, pull, lift out, and install cable and conduit
  • Prepare work areas, drill holes, and grind metal surfaces
  • Test electrical equipment
  • Read composite blueprints, computer printouts, and Navy standards manuals
Requirements
  • Two years of marine electrical experience and/or four years of electrical experience
  • Ability to use power and hand tools and read composite blueprints, computer printouts, and Navy standards manuals
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be available to work any shift
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to fumes, odors, dust, gases, various climates, and temperatures
  • Exposure to constantly moving machines and mechanical parts and high levels of constant noise
