Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Outreach Coordinator - Communications Specialist to join our team at Global Refuge. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a mission-driven organization that transforms communities and empowers refugees and migrants.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and possess a strong understanding of marketing and communications principles.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per yearKey Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to promote Global Refuge's initiatives and campaigns.

  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of branded materials, including brochures, swag, and social media content.
  • Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure seamless integration of all communications-related efforts.
  • Provide administrative support with expense reports, invoicing, scheduling, and other related tasks.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in communications, marketing, creative writing, and interactive content management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, MailChimp, and Salesforce CRM is a plus.
