About the Position:

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for educating patients and their family members about speech disorders, including their causes, whether related to disabilities, traumatic events, or other factors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech disorders.
  • Provide rehabilitative assistance to help patients achieve their speech and communication goals.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, or medical providers to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
  • Maintain detailed records of student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
  • Excellent coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Attentive and caring, with the ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist.
  • CCC-SLP Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
  • Active [STATE] Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or in a similar role.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
